# Creating Your First Article

Articles in Clayo are written entirely through your AI coding tool. There's no web editor — just describe what you want and your agent handles the rest.

## Writing an article

Ask your agent something like:

> "Create a help article explaining how to invite team members to a project."

The agent will use the `create_article` tool behind the scenes, writing the content in markdown and placing it in the collection you specify.

## Articles start as drafts

By default, new articles are created as **drafts**. This gives you a chance to review the content before it goes live. When you're ready, ask your agent to publish it.

## Organizing with collections

Articles live inside **collections**, which are groups shown in your docs sidebar. You can ask your agent to:

- Create a new collection
- List existing collections
- Place an article in a specific collection

## Tips for good docs

- **One topic per article** — keep articles focused so they're easy to find
- **Use clear titles** — your title becomes the heading and the search result
- **Let the agent iterate** — ask it to revise, expand, or simplify after the first draft
